Don’t change who you are or the way that you love because you run into someone with a hard-heart.
The other day I almost stopped myself from doing something kind for someone because I told myself that they wouldn’t appreciate it, they wouldn’t care I started to overthink but me being me I enjoy treating people, it was something I had the desire to do and I knew that they needed a pick me up even though their heart is hard towards me I still wanted to and I felt it was necessary because of what they had been experiencing so it was on my heart very heavy to just do a kind gesture regardless of the response or lack of response I received back and that’s when I was reminded of what love is. Love is not based on a feeling you don’t do it because you feel like it because you expect something back you don’t love just because you want someone to love you back, or to be seen or to be acknowledged it’s something you do no matter what. Don’t let someone with a hardened heart scare you out of loving them because the reality of it is everyone does deserve love and no one should feel like they are too hard to love back.
